How a project works — from first call to handover
Step 1 — Free consultation (30–45 minutes) We start by understanding your team size, workflow, timeline, and budget range. This happens over a call or in person at our Sodala office. No commitment required at this stage.
Step 2 — Site visit and measurement Our team visits your space to take accurate measurements and assess existing conditions — ceiling height, column positions, electrical entry points, existing infrastructure. This shapes the layout and scope.
Step 3 — Floor plan and layout We prepare a detailed floor plan showing desk placement, room positions, walkways, and storage allocation. This is not a rough sketch — it is the working document from which execution begins. You review and approve before we proceed.
Step 4 — Design presentation 3D visualisations of key areas — reception, workstation floor, cabins, conference room. You see what the finished space looks like before any material is ordered.
Step 5 — Fixed-price BOQ A complete Bill of Quantities covering every item in the project — materials, labour, furniture, fittings. This is the number we work to. It does not change unless you change the scope, and any scope change is approved by you in writing before work begins.
Step 6 — Execution with weekly updates Civil work, false ceiling, flooring, partitions, electrical, and furniture are executed in a planned sequence. Your dedicated project manager shares progress updates weekly and is reachable throughout.
Step 7 — Snagging and handover Before handover, we conduct a full snagging exercise — checking every surface, fitting, drawer, cable, and junction. We fix everything before the handover walkthrough. You move into a finished office, not a work in progress.
Step 8 — 3-year post-handover support Your project manager stays assigned after handover. Any issue in the first three years — loose fitting, surface damage, furniture adjustment — is handled through the same contact.
